Voted “Mt. Pleasant's Best Sports Club for Kids” in 2025, FC Charleston was founded on the idea of creating a soccer club for players of all skill levels while cultivating a very strong sense of community. Our focus is on developing well-rounded athletes in a team-oriented environment, where the emphasis is on group achievement and success. FC Charleston is a club with a family-like feel that nurtures a life-long love for the game in our players, and, in so doing, forges friendships, connections, and relationships that will extend far beyond their time on the pitch. With our ever increasing number of practice locations spread around Mount Pleasant, we offer affordable, safe and convenient learning environments for our players.

FC Charleston’s coaching staff is one of the most experienced in the Lowcountry with over 75 years of combined coaching experience. Our coaches possess extensive experience both coaching and playing at the professional, national, collegiate, high school, and grass root levels. They teach and develop the core values of integrity, sportmanship, excellence, and empathy. Our coaches understand that fun is the foundation that can make every soccer player a success, fostering a love of the game, a desire to work hard, and sparking creativity. FC Charleston’s coaches embrace technology and innovation to promote efficiency as well as provide learning tools and objective feedback, giving our players a competitive advantage in their development journey.
